GITANGA ROAD OFFICES DEMOLITION

2nd March 2026 marked a historic and transformative moment for the Law Society of Kenya following the successful demolition of the dilapidated old offices along Gitanga Road. This exercise signals the end of an era and the beginning of a bold new chapter as we pave the way for modern, accessible, and efficient facilities that will better serve our members, stakeholders, and the wider public in advancing the rule of law and access to justice. The exercise was led by the President, Faith Odhiambo, who was accompanied by Council Members and the Chief Executive Officer. Their presence underscored the Society’s strong commitment to institutional growth, renewal, and the continuous improvement of service delivery.

This milestone reflects our shared vision of building a dynamic and future-focused professional body that meets the evolving needs of the legal profession and society. As we bid farewell to the old premises, we honour the rich history, memories, and milestones that were shaped within those walls. The foundation laid there will continue to inspire our journey forward. We now look ahead with optimism and determination as we prepare for the development of a state-of-the-art facility that embodies excellence, innovation, and inclusivity.
