On 30th January 2026, the Law Society of Kenya hosted the Wakili Towers Fundraising Gala Dinner, a historic evening that brought together advocates, partners, and supporters of the legal fraternity in a spirit of unity and purpose. The event was not only a celebration of the Society’s vision for a permanent home but also a powerful demonstration of collective commitment to the defence of the rule of law in Kenya. Through the generosity of members and strategic partners, the gala successfully raised approximately KSh 20 million, a significant contribution toward the construction of Wakili Towers along Gitanga Road.
The gala dinner was marked by inspiring speeches, reflections on the Society’s journey, and a renewed sense of solidarity among advocates. It underscored the importance of Wakili Towers as more than just a headquarters—it is a symbol of permanence, resilience, and continuity for an institution that has withstood political cycles, constitutional challenges, and societal transitions. The funds raised will accelerate progress toward the Society’s timeline for initial occupancy, ensuring that advocates across the country will soon have a dignified and enduring home. This milestone affirms the unwavering support of the legal community and its partners in realizing Wakili Towers as a landmark of legal advocacy. The building will stand as a testament to the profession’s dedication to justice, a witnessto future debates, and a space for mentoring generations of advocates yet to come.
